  Avis Brown-Riley is a Champion in Life:

My Mantra:

“Dreams can come true! Don’t Give Up! Never Give Up!”. 

As a Breast Cancer survivor, I am so grateful to be alive. Being grateful should not 

always come on the receiving end. A Champion in Life understands that “Giving.” 

is also a part of being grateful and becoming GREAT!

So, how did a seven-year little girl from Southeast San Diego learn to become a 

champion in life? Let me share my amazing journey with you. 

Becoming a Champion in Life does not come easy, it takes Desire, Dedication, 

Determination, and support. 

My vision for the world is to help empower women and young girls in our communities, the business world, health awareness and in the game of Golf and inspire them to reach their fullest potential.
